The new app and desktop platform FINALLY use social connections to truly provide ME something of value: Add-free, continual stream of AMAZING music!

Better than Pandora, better than iTunes and MUCH MUCH better than Spotify on it's own - #Music offers a few really cool ways to find new music. You can discover music that your Twitter community is playing, trending new musicians and the most popular tracks.

I have heard chatter that some users don't like the new app. If you don't pay for a Spotify premium membership, you only get to hear track previews. That would SUCK! However, a premium Spotify account only costs $9 bucks per month and saves me hundreds of dollars from purchasing music on iTunes. #Music and Spotify together give me everything I need to create awesome playlists, listen to great music ANYWHERE and easily share music with my online community. All of that for $9 bucks per month ROCKS!

So I'm a big FAN and I'm sure the service will just get better and better as additional features and functionality is added down the road.

Re: Portland Marketing Events: TMMPDX’s Top Marketing Events April 2013

Hi Stephanie,

Great article, Lisa. I like that you included search influence as a consideration for social media planning! Thank you for sharing it. I can't believe how many people don't just do the basics with Googling a business prior to interviewing or consulting. Simple and completely effective. Don't people want to know what is going on with the business prior to the conversation. Good to get objectives straight as well. This whole post rocks it. jb

Re: Digital Marketing Infographic Series: Diving Into Search Behavior [Infographic]

Helpful information, thanks Allie! I'm hoping that replies have a stronger, more reliable notification than the previous "blanket comments." Unfortunately, Facebook's release didn't really clarify if it would, but I'm confident that a direct reply would include a notification.

Regardless of the outcome of this particular addition from Facebook, I'm just happy to see them continuing to optimize the business page! It feels like we're pretty much stuck with the network, but it doesn't have to be a negative experience for businesses and their following, right?

Re: Facebook “Reply” Feature: A customer service game-changer

Great article, Andrew! I administer our company's social media, as well as the occasional client account. I could always reply by posting a comment in the thread, but no guarantee it would be seen by the person making the comment. This new feature seems like it will actually be helpful - can't wait to try it out.

Re: #tmmTops: Thoroughly Modern Marketing News You May Have Missed This Week

Great post Heather and you're right AWESOME week-end reading list!

Re: #tmmTops: Thoroughly Modern Marketing News You May Have Missed This Week

Great job this week team on the #tmmTops post contributions.
